Overhead Cranes, Gantries & Jibs

JD Lifting specialise in the design, manufacture, supply, install, test and inspection of overhead cranes, gantries, bridge cranes, runway beams and post/wall mount jib cranes.

Whether it's a refurb or replacement bridge crane and end carriages or the supply of a new overhead traveling crane, we can cope with any sized project, no matter how big or small.

Single or double girder bridge crane with either an electric chain or wire hoist or a top mounted wire hoist crab unit.

Free standing column supports or portal mounted downshop beams. Single or dual speed all motions. Wired pendants or hand held radio control. Tell us what you want and we will build it.

We have supplied numerous bespoke "goal-post" type gantries with fixed runway beams in many different applications from indoor work shop environments to water treatment pumping stations, garages, quaysides and factory production lines to name but a few. Supplied with manual or electric hoisiting options as required.

All our cranes/gantries/jib cranes are fully designed and calculated before manufacture, and then once installed, are tested and certified. Full calcs and certification issues as standard.

  • DaRo products have recently procured two new 5 Mtr swing beams each capable of lifting 250 kilos. The electric hoists are fitted with dual speed options and can be slewed at 180 degrees between bays. This latest acquisition enables the safe lifting of welded fabrications for our team and optimizes the productivity times for our customers.
